In a 1930s Spanish schoolhouse, 2 children are bullied into an early marriage. Decades later & an ocean away, 18-year-old Clarisse unearths family secrets amid the shrapnel of Guernica’s bombing.

I decided to workshop my 2nd novel prior to submissions in August.
Summer 2024: Breakout Novel Intensive
6-week workshop, one of the publishing industry's most acclaimed workshops, with literary agent and author Donald Maass.
Published Fiction
Garden of the Gods, my first published novel, was shortlisted in the Best First Novel category at the Atlantic Book Awards.
Sadly, Canada lost one of its debut author long-time champions, Joe Blades (Broken Jaw Press), in 2020.
The 2nd updated edition is on hold while I decide whether to self publish a 2nd revised run.
