Current (#amquerying) novel: PAPILLON
Painting by Holly Carr
In a 1930s Spanish schoolhouse, 2 children are bullied into an early marriage. Decades later & an ocean away, 18-year-old Clarisse unearths family secrets amid the shrapnel of Guernica’s bombing.

Published Fiction
Garden of the Gods, my first published novel, was nominated in the Best First Novel category at the Atlantic Book Awards.
Sadly, Canada lost one of its debut author long-time champions, Joe Blades (Broken Jaw Press), in 2020.
The 2nd updated edition is on hold while I decide whether to self publish a 2nd revised run.

The launch, organized by my fabulous "Company of Friends" was standing room only, thanks to them:

MADAME F
Why would someone leave a home and a city they love & never come back?
Odder still, why would they keep paying the bills? For 70 years?
Yet, that’s exactly what Madame F did.
And this is the story of why.
Opening Lines:
What struck Olivier first was the ostrich. Even before the smell.
