My 3 awesome writing communities: the Wired Monk Writers (below), Paris Lit Up (PLU), and the Manuscript Academy (MU) based in New York & dubbed "the happiest place in publishing."
WIRED MONK WRITERS

We're a community of writers who meet to offer one another support and to critique each other's writing.
Monks practice religious asceticism, often living alone or with a number of monks, maintaining a degree of separation from those not sharing the same purpose. The difference: As WIRED monk writers, we're tapped into our communities and working to make them more sustainable & creative places. +++ we share a sense of fun (see picture:)
If you're in Halifax, or visiting Halifax check out where it all began at the Wired Monk Cafe: www.wiredmonk.com
--The Cafe is perfect for writers & romantics. It's licensed cafe and features Fair Trade, organic slow- roasted coffee (or wine:)

We're not here to coddle, but to use our deep instincts and editorial skills to help one another take our manuscripts and stories to the next level.
