'13' is my cat's name & writing muse.
1. The proudest day of my life was my first book launch.

3. I once met Jack Nicholson and convinced him to buy a house in Cape Breton because I couldn't shut up about how beautiful AND secluded it was....
4. I love sunlight and saturated colours (though I prefer to begin a novel on a rainy day).
5. The most exciting package I received in the mail: My first novel!
Waiting for that box is like watching paint dry. When it finally happens and you crack its spine, the next few hours are a nail-biter.
My friends and I headed to a favourite coffee shop where we got stares -- five people reading the same book struck passersby as a tad strange...
6. Guilty pleasures: Flowers & expensive wine.
Favourite flowers are peonies, tulips, hyacinths, lily-of-the-valley, sunflowers, hydrangeas and lilac stems.

Food: I'm a slave to chocolate.

My favourite outdoor meals are: lobster and fresh bread, or a marmite of mussels and REAL french fries along with a glass (who am I kidding?), I mean, a bottle of Bordeaux.
In winter, I crave stews and bouillabaisse.
Any season - you bring Reese's peanut butter cups = you become my friend!

10. When I was completing my undergraduate degree, I spent a semester in Spain
