This week I was checking into the cottages available during Pete's weeks off . . .good grief, everything looked booked! Then, I resorted to my super powers and found ONE. There is one thing I'd change in the itinerary: As someone who was born on the edge of the park and worked in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, I can tell you that driving towards Cheticamp (on the West side of the circle) as the sun begins setting on the ocean is nothing short of spectacular! Wow--you've really convinced me to go! I think we can take the Wood's Island ferry from our part of PEI (nearly East Point), and from there it's just 3 hours to CB. Can't wait to see it.
